Barista School

Are you passionate about coffee? Then a Barista course could be
the answer! At the Fiori Coffee School our industry professionals
will coach you in the skills you need to work as barista or just
make coffee at home.

The Introductory Class runs for 2.5 hours and is designed
to introduce you to professional barista techniques that are
applicable to all espresso machines, big or small. Enjoy learning
about the origins of coffee, how coffee is grown, harvested,
roasted, blended and the importance of freshness.
Time is devoted to hands-on experience on commercial quality
espresso machines and class sizes are limited to give you
maximum one on one attention.

In the class we will cover:

• Fundamentals of extracting the perfect espresso
• Adjusting your grinder to get the best from your coffee
• Steaming milk to get a smooth creamy texture
• The different types of coffees served in a café
• How to clean and maintain your espresso machine

including GST. Bookings are essential as classes are limited to
small groups. Private classes can be arranged.
